Though 10 years have passed since the attacks on lower Manhattan, the Pentagon and rural Pennsylvania, many of us can instantly recall vivid images from that day.
In the aftermath, American Bible Society was on the scene ministering to the first responders at Ground Zero and the victims of 9/11 in several ways. Ten years later, we're still here, marking this occasion by gathering church leaders and sharing needed Bible resources. For this anniversary, the Scripture Portion God Is Our Shelter and Strength, is being reissued. Also to mark this anniversary, ABS is publishing The Freedom Bible in partnership with The Salvation Army as a testament and invitation to celebrate God's amazing freedom in Christ.
