The prestigious “New Artist of the Year” award went to Sidewalk Prophets at the 2010 Dove Awards in Nashville. In his acceptance speech, lead singer Dave Frey thanked American Bible Society for partnering with Sidewalk Prophets and cited Psalm 150 as the group's musical inspiration. The Dove Awards is one of the biggest awards ceremonies for Christian music.
This winter, ABS and Sidewalk Prophets implemented the “Get the Truth Challenge,” an opportunity for concertgoers and website visitors of various Word Entertainment artists to receive God's Word daily via text messaging. More than 75,000 people subscribed and took the challenge.
