Throughout Scripture, God often calls his people to remembrance of his deeds, commands, and promises.
Through Moses, he commanded the Israelites to remember the Sabbath (Exodus 20:8), remember his miracles and wonders (Psalm 105:5), and remember that they were once slaves in Egypt before he rescued them (Deuteronomy 5:15).
As it was for the Israelites, remembrance is an important part of our Christian journey. It keeps us focused on God’s grace and goodness.
Holy Week presents an opportunity to remember Jesus’s final days on earth and reflect on God’s incredible display of love for us.
We created this prayer guide entitled, Praying Through the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus, to help you remember, reflect, and pray through the events that led to the moment that would forever change your life.
May you draw near to Jesus as you are reminded that Jesus loves you so much he gave his life for you.
