Leaders from the Philadelphia area will learn how to care for people hurt by trauma such as abuse, disaster or violence, at a Bible-based trauma healing training in May.

In these sessions, participants learn the model for Bible-based trauma healing, explore their own past and need for healing, learn how to lead groups in a participatory way, and develop plans for using Bible-based trauma healing ministry in their community. Participants also learn biblical and mental health principles related to trauma care.

The trainings often include people who are church and ministry leaders, laypeople, social justice advocates, non-governmental organization workers, and others seeking to help traumatized people.

Join us in praying that these sessions will help leaders bring the hope and healing found in God’s Word to people in Philadelphia.

Let’s pray together:

Father, we pray for each person attending the Bible-based trauma healing training in Philadelphia to feel fully equipped and empowered by you to lead others in a journey of spiritual healing using Scripture. Grant them strength, courage and wisdom as they seek to bring Bible-based trauma healing to their communities.

Trauma Healing Sessions are happening across the United States and around the world. To continue to pray for training sessions, follow our schedule.
