Faith and civic leaders expressed excitement for American Bible Society’s forthcoming Faith and Liberty Discovery Center during a press conference on January 11, 2017. “Religious freedom is the cornerstone of this country,” says Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney. “American Bible Society’s project here will crystallize that religious freedom for all the people who visit.”
Slated to open on Philadelphia’s Independence Mall in 2019, the Faith and Liberty Discovery Center will bring to life the powerful story of the Bible’s influence in America for more than 400,000 guests each year and for millions more through a digital learning experience.
