FIRST-EVER BONO-TWI NEW TESTAMENT RELEASED IN GHANA — The Bono-Twi dialect holds a special place in Ghana’s rich linguistic tapestry. The completion of the first New Testament translation was widely celebrated in the Bono community, even by those in the diaspora. The first 5,000 copies were eagerly received by people who had long awaited a Bible in their heart language. Now, the Bible Society of Ghana is focused on translating the Old Testament into Bono-Twi. Bible translation projects like this are vital to helping people engage with Scripture and grow in their faith.

MAKING THE BIBLE ACCESSIBLE TO PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES WORLDWIDE — The Bible Society global network connects thousands of people with disabilities to the Word of God in formats that meet their specific needs. Projects include translating the Bible into various sign languages, printing Braille Bibles in multiple languages, publishing easy-to-read resources, and providing specialized materials for children with Down syndrome or autism spectrum disorder. These efforts not only make the Bible accessible but also transform lives and foster a sense of belonging within different communities.
