When he went home to glory, Rev. Dr. Wilbert D. Gough had lived longer than most people—104 years!
Throughout his long life, Rev. Dr. Gough treasured God’s Word above everything else. He loved the Bible, but he also lived its teachings. And he was passionate about sharing the good news with those around him.
Besides being known as “the guy who [was] always passing out sermons,” Rev. Dr. Gough found a creative way to give God’s Word to others through American Bible Society. And by including American Bible Society in his Will, he ensured that he could continue making a difference by sharing Scripture around the world even after he had passed away.
