The production of religious art in late-medieval Spain was a complex, cooperative relationship between Christian and Jewish artists. Jewish and Christian artists worked side by side in studios producing both retablos (large multi-paneled altarpieces), as well as Latin and Hebrew manuscripts. The exhibition tells the story of this fascinating collaboration and provides
a glimpse into these artistic communities.
