In the Arabian Gulf region, non-nationals often outnumber nationals. Fleeing poverty in other countries, they journey to find work in the Gulf region that is typically deemed “dirty, dangerous, and demanding,” as well as degrading and demeaning.

But many migrant laborers — like Arpith*, Etasha*, and Vihaan* — are extremely grateful to faithful friends like you because the Bibles they received while working there have changed their lives and eternities!

Arpith came to the region from India in search of work. He was intrigued by one of his roommates, a Christian, who behaved differently from the others. Arpith explains, “After many months of searching and questioning, I decided to accept Christ as my Savior.” The Bible Arpith received helps him grow stronger in his faith, and he enjoys sharing Bibles with other migrant workers, too.

Etasha traveled to Bahrain for work and shares, “I received my Bible joyfully because I needed it so much. To me, the Bible is the way to know God, and it helps me avoid sin.”

Vihaan is also from India and has been working in the Gulf region for some time. The Bible he received brought him great joy: “Thank you for giving me my own Bible. It will help me follow God by doing what is right in His eyes and by living in harmony with neighbors. I stopped my bad habits, including drinking alcohol, before I got baptized. Now, I want to reach out to others like me.”

Through the Bibles you help provide, people in the Arabian Gulf region are finding Christ and growing in their newfound Christian faith. Thank you!
